Renexus Resource Group is looking for a talented and committed Academic Writer to join our growing in-house writing team in Karachi. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong academic background, exceptional research capability, and a passion for producing well-structured, high-quality written work.
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing academic content that meets international scholarly standards across diverse disciplines. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and draft well-organized academic papers, essays, and reports.
- Write, proofread, and edit content to ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, and originality.
- Apply appropriate referencing styles such as APA, MLA, Harvard, and Chicago with consistency and precision.
- Use data analysis tools like SPSS, MATLAB, EViews, or Stata for research-based projects.
- Ensure factual correctness, coherence, and adherence to assignment guidelines.
- Manage multiple writing tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal English, with strong command of grammar and academic tone.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize information.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with major academic formatting and referencing conventions.
- High attention to detail, dependability, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and handle pressure effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma, A-Levels, or Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in academic or research writing.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with analytical or statistical tools such as SPSS, MATLAB, EViews, or Stata will be an advantage.
